Olde Homestead Golf Club

Junior Golf Program

Olde Homestead Golf Club will be launching a new Junior Golf Program in the summer of 2011 which is designed to help as many children as possible experience the game of golf.

The program will be based on the US Kids Golf Foundation program, and will give children the chance to learn the game of golf in a fun and relaxed environment. One of the biggest challenges of introducing and keeping children involved in golf is the expensive fact that they need a new set of clubs for every six inches they grow. This program will provide kids with clubs as they grow, and each child will not be required to have their own equipment to be part of this program.

Children ages 7-14 will be provided with the needed golf equipment and attire; including full sets of junior clubs, bags, buckets of practice balls, green fees and professional instruction. The program will include skills development, contests, and friendly competitions throughout the season. In order to begin the program in year one, we are looking to engage between 20 and 60 participants.

We thank you in advance for considering being a part of this Junior Golf Program.

Sincerely,

Billy Hallman
Head of Golf Operations
