Fourth Annual Mark Guensch Memorial Golf Tournament

This year our event will be on Friday, June 17th, 2011. Once again we will be playing on the beautiful course at Olde Homestead Golf Club in New Tripoli, PA. This year we will have a single 1:00pm shotgun start. Be sure to Save the Date; Friday, June 17th on your calendar to begin a great weekend early! As always there will be many opportunities to win prizes! A delicious deli lunch will be provided during your play at the Halfway House. This year, the dinner will follow at 7:00pm at the Holiday Inn Conference Center in Fogelsville, PA. We are looking forward to a great social event and a message from Jimmy Sheilds, who is the Pottsville HIgh School head football coach. Thank you for supporting Livin' the Dream Foundation in our continued effort to bring a Safe Haven to the youth in our community!

Previous Tournaments

Held on May 22, 2008 was our Inaugural Mark Guensch Memorial Tournament. The idea was started by Dirk Postupack, who wanted to honor the memory of his friend's son. In just a short time this idea came together to create a golf tournament that would not only help to continually raise money for the Livin' the Dream foundation but also create a wonderful and enjoyable day for everyone involved. The foundation was able to raise in excess of $10,000. There were over 180 golfers who participated and 210 people who joined us for the awards banquet and dinner. We kicked off the second year with many new additions. Along with the opportunity to win numerous and wonderful prizes, we were delighted to have trick shot artist Ben Witter perform his amazing talent for everyone to enjoy and have local Christian band Beyond Barriers perform a mini concert during dinner. The second year also introduced the mini 9-hole Par 3 tournament and a lesson with the pro. It was a big hit for those who are just starting out in the game of golf. Thank you for your continued support!
