Please allow this letter to introduce to you The Emerald Volunteer Fire Company and the third annual Emerald Classic golf tournament for which we are seeking your support.
The Emerald Fire Company, established in 1909, is a local volunteer fire department that provides service to Washington Township and its surrounding communities. A large number of volunteers give their time and risk their lives to provide their well-trained services to the general public, priding themselves on a long history of dedication and high standards. The Emerald Fire Co. is an organization that is involved in various community events and provides facilities and grounds for both adult and children's functions. The department also maintains their equipment and state of the art gear, frequently adding new trucks and other modern technology to the fleet when possible. Building on last year's successful Second Emerald Classic golf tournament that commemorated the Emerald Fire Company's one hundred year anniversary, we would like to invite you to take part in our Third Annual Emerald Classic golf tournament.
Please join in helping The Emerald Fire Company on August 25, 2012 at Olde Homestead Golf Club. The Emerald Classic will be a four man scramble golf tournament hosted by the fire company to help raise funds.
I would like to thank all of those who have worked very hard to make this event possible. I look forward to the continued growth and success of this annual event.
